Frequently asked questions 

  •  What is the notice period if I no longer require BREAKFAST CLUB or AFTER SCHOOL CLUB? 
    We require one calendar months notice from the months start to month end. For example if you hand your notice in on 10th of November, your notice period will be taken from the 1st of December until the 30th December.

  •  Can I book an extra session (adhoc session) for BREAKFAST  CLUB  or AFTER SCHOOL CLUB? 
    We offer adhoc sessions for a slightly higher rate. Please refer to our price list page for the amount per session per child. 

  • Whats our daily routine in Breakfast club?
     When your child/ren arrive they will have the option of having breakfast. If they do not want breakfast they can use the free choice activities. Breakfast is served from 7:45am to 8:25am, if your child/ren arrives after 8:25am they will still be able to access all of the free choice activities, but we will not be able to serve any food or drink items. 

  • Whats our daily routine in After school club? 
    Our staffing team will meet your child at the Little Stars after school club meeting point. Reception, to Year 3 will be escorted by their school teachers to a classroom within the school at the end of the school day. Year 4 to Year 6 will be given the independence to make their way from their classrooms to meet the Little Stars staffing team within the Green room on the school site. 
    - 4pm       - Snack time 
    - 4:30pm  - Free choice activities, adult led activities and free flow outdoor play 
    - 5:30pm  -  Quiet activities 

  • Where do we drop off for Breakfast club? 
     We have a black door bell attached to the green gates at the right side of the Busy Bees building. Please ring this doorbell and a member of staff will come to the gate and collect your child/ren from you and escort them back to the green building on the school site. 

  • Where do we collect for After school club?
     We have a white doorbell attached to the Busy Bees front green gate. Please ring this bell and a member of staff will bring your child/ren to the gate for collection. 
    Due to increasing our registration, to enable more children to attend our setting we have recently introduced time slots that you will be able to collect your child/ren from after school club. 
    We will be trialing this system and gaining parent / carer feedback. 
    However, if you need to collect your child/ren for an appointment etc. Please speak to a member of staff and we will aim to accommodate where possible. 

    After school club collection time Slots Monday to Thursday:- 
    - 4pm 
    - 4:15pm
    - 4:30pm 
    - 4:45pm
    - 5pm 
    - 5:15pm
    - 5:30pm
    - After 5:30pm your child/ren can be collected at any time up until 6pm

    After school club collection time slots for Fridays:- 
  • We will not have any time slots in place on a Friday as we run from one building. Therefore, you can collect your child/ren at any time from 3:30pm to 5:30pm



  • Where will my child be during Breakfast club? 
    Breakfast club for Reception to Year 6 will be held in the green building, on the school site

  • Where will my child be during After school club?
    Reception to Year 2 will be held in the Busy Bees building. 
    Year 3 to Year 6 will be held in the Green building. 
    At times the children will mix, this may be during activities such as outdoor play, adult led activities and free choice activities. 

  • Can my child attend after school clubs / discos / after school events that the school provide and then attend Little Stars after school club afterwards? 
    Yes, all children are welcome to attend any clubs / discos / after school events. Parents and carers must inform Little Stars that your child/ren will be arriving later to our setting. Parents / carers must organise how their child will be brought to Little Stars after their club / disco / after school events finishes. The staffing team at Little Stars may be able to help with this collection where possible. However, these arrangements will need to arranged before the event takes place.
